The Client: Private client.

The Brief: To create a garden and swimming pool for a generous sized new house on a large farm situated on a hill side.

Concept Design: We created a garden that followed the existing levels where possible. The garden is situated between the house and the pool area, where the land naturally levels out. Below the house, we created a shaded tree lined path and sitting area with a wall fountain. We introduced a terraced herb garden and vegetable garden near the kitchen and garden path ways leading to the swimming pool. Access to nature woodland trails and sitting areas to take in the views of the landscape. The planting is mediterranean and drought tolerant native plants and with an abundance of spring bulbs.
