The Client: Brent Council. The Mapesbury Dell Conservation Trust worked in partnership with Brent Parks Service to secure Doorstep Green and Living Spaces Lottery funding to revitalize the Mapesbury Dell.

The Brief: To turn Mapesbury Dell into a vibrant community asset; to redesign the Dell for the use of people of all ages and to provide a focus for forging stronger links between residents. The council wanted to reduce criminal abuse and antisocial behaviour through incorporating particular facilities for children, youth and elderly folk.

Concept Design: The design is a blend of an urban park and a garden. It has given the community a place to meet and to experience the change of the seasons. A place for children and adults to explore nature and wild-life.
